The Macallan Gran Reserva 15 Years Old has been matured exclusively in sherry seasoned oak casks. It is these exceptional casks that transform our full-bodied ‘new make’ spirit into this exclusive release of a classic single malt. Bottled as a 15 year old for the very first time, this rich, dark, tantalising spirit reveals lingering flavours of winter spice, orange and chocolate with a complex and long finish.

Colour – Polished walnut
Aroma – Rich dried fruit, warming winter spices, orange and dark chocolate, underlying oak notes

5. What extra charges might apply for delivery to my chosen country?
All alcohol products sold by The Macallan Online Shop are sold subject to UK alcohol tax. If we are exporting products to an address in the European Union (EU) prices are subject to the appropriate rate of VAT and alcohol tax depending on the delivery country.


For all deliveries outside of the EU, UK VAT will not be charged. However, your order will be subject to local sales taxes and duties upon arrival in your chosen country, which are levied at the time the package clears customs. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, The Macallan Online Shop has no control over these charges. 6. How do I buy The Macallan Gran Reserva 15 Years Old?
Sign-up to The Macallan newsletter at www.themacallan.com/news to receive an invitation to register for the chance to purchase a bottle from The Macallan Online Shop. Within 1 working day of signing up to the newsletter you will receive an email inviting you to register for the ballot. You must have registered for the newsletter before 23.59 (UK time) on Friday 17th November 2017 in order to receive the invitation.

7. When is registration open?
Registration will open on Monday 13th November 2017 and will close at 23.59 (UK time) on Sunday 19th November 2017. 

8. How will I know if I'm successful in registering for the chance to purchase a bottle?
After successfully registering for a bottle you will see an onscreen message and you will receive a confirmation email from The Macallan shortly after. If you have not received a confirmation email, please check your SPAM box. If the email is not in your SPAM box please email shop@themacallan.com for assistance.

9. How will I know I’ve been successful in obtaining the chance to purchase a bottle?
After registration has closed, all registered customers will be entered into a ballot to be randomly selected for the opportunity to purchase a bottle of The Macallan Gran Reserva 15 Years Old. From November 22nd onwards customers selected from the ballot will receive an email providing a link to purchase. This link will be valid for 48 hours and allows the purchase of a single bottle of The Macallan Gran Reserva 15 Years Old. All applicants will be informed by early December if they have been successful.

10. How is the ballot drawn?
The successful entrants will be drawn digitally from a randomised list of entries by an independent third party. 

11. How many bottles can I order online?
Online orders are restricted to one bottle per order. This is to ensure as many friends of The Macallan as possible are able to purchase.

12. If I am drawn from the ballot how do I complete my order?
Customers selected from the ballot will receive an email providing a link to purchase. Simply click on the link provided, verify the code pre-filled on the page, add the bottle to your basket and check out as normal. Please do not refresh the page or use the browser back button before completing your purchase as all codes are locked for 30 minutes once verified to ensure only one bottle can be purchased.

13. Why is my code locked for 30 minutes? 
We lock each code for 30 minutes to the device or browser your verify the code on to ensure that each code is used only once.

14. Which countries do you ship to?
The Macallan Gran Reserva 15 Years Old is available to order for shipping to: Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the Channel Islands.

15. Do I have to be a resident of one of these countries to purchase online?
You do not need to be a resident of these countries to purchase providing the shipping address given is within one of the listed countries.

If you are not a resident in one of these countries and your shipping address differs from the billing information supplied we will contact you via email to arrange further proof of identification. Please add shop@themacallan.com to your safe senders list to minimise any issues in you receiving this communication or delay to your purchase.

16. When will I receive my bottle?
The time for delivery will vary depending on the selected country however we expect most orders to be delivered within 10 working days. If you have not received your bottle within 10 working days of ordering please contact email shop@themacallan.com.

17. Can I specify a delivery date?
Your order will be delivered by DHL. You will receive a DHL shipment notification which will allow you to track your delivery and delay delivery until a specific delivery date using the holiday hold option.

18. Who will deliver my bottle?
Your order will be fulfilled by our fulfillment partners Mail Marketing UK and it will be delivered by DHL. You will receive a DHL shipment notification which will allow you to track your delivery. A signature will be required on delivery.

19. Can you advise of the returns process?
If you wish to return your bottle, please email shop@themacallan.com with details of your order within 7 days of delivery of the goods. Any returned products must be returned to us in good condition, with all packaging intact. The full returns policy is available in our Terms & Conditions.
